View it on FamilySearch to see the full information.&lt;br&gt;&nbsp;&nbsp;Additional information: <br> <br>LifeSketch: Grenfell Record and Lachlan District Advertiser (NSW : 1876 - 1951), Friday 18 October 1912, page 2vent, which occurred on Tuesday night, was altogether unexpected, and came as a great shock to the family. We saw Mr Gannon in town last week, when he attended the Land Board sitting, and though, somewhat feeble, he appeared in his usual health. However, on Tuesday evening when in the paddock after cattle, he was overtaken by heart failure. Medical aid was promptly summoned, but the end came before Dr Ercole could reach the homestead. Mr Gannon, whose kind and courteous disposition endeared him to his family and a host of friends, was 71 years of age, and leaves a widow, seven sons and six daughters to mourn their loss, besides 25 grandchildren. He was a native of Goulburn, and had been a resident of this district for thirty-nine years — on Tomanbil and Warraderry. The funeral, which was -largely attended, passed through Grenfell about half-past 1 on Thursday for the Catholic cemetery. Rev Father McDwyer officiated. MrW. R. Pearson had charge of the arrangements.
